        CORAL GABLES, Fla. (September 07, 2007) ---- Marisol Gomez of the Coral Gables-based law firm of Gamba & Lombana P.A. was recently voted as a first-time member of the 2007 Florida Legal Elite Up and Coming Attorneys list. Firm partners Tomas Gamba and Hector Lombana were also renamed to the Florida Legal Elite’s Top Civil Trial Attorneys list.

        Inclusion in these lists is based on votes by all in-state members of The Florida Bar for their fellow attorneys who they hold in the highest regard. The Florida Legal Elite Up and Coming Attorneys list recognizes lawyers who have been practicing for less than 10 years.

        Prior to joining Gamba & Lombana, Gomez served as a judicial intern with Senior Judge James Lawrence King, and she has also served as an intern with the state attorney's office in Miami and the offices of the Broward County Attorney and City of Coral Gables Attorney. She serves on the Board of Directors and as the chairperson of the Awards Committee for the Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and she is also the statewide representative for FAWL on the Board of Governors for the Young Lawyers Division of The Florida Bar. Gomez earned a law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2005 and an MBA in corporate finance and legal implications (2002) along with a bachelor's degree in business administration and criminology (1999) from the University of Miami.
